The Renewed Tree Model™ (RTM™) is at the heart of our clinical philosophy. Families do not flourish by managing symptoms alone. Thomia Thompson, LMHC
Clinical Director & A Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Mia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Director of Renewed Integrative Counseling, bringing over a decade of counseling experience and 25+ years in Christian ministry.

She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families using evidence-based methods such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), where she also serves as a Master Trainer. Mia offers Biblically Informed care and is certified in SYMBIS and Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy, equipping individuals and couples to heal, grow, and thrive.
Sessions & Fees.
The Renewed Family Clinic is a private-pay division of Renewed Integrative Counseling. We do not bill insurance for couples or family counseling, as these services are often not considered medically necessary and may be denied or limited by insurance providers.
Renewed is biblically grounded and fully aligned with your values, free from insurance restrictions.
Session
structure:
Initial Evaluation. (1-2 Hour Duration).
This includes a comprehensive clinical assessment and formal evaluation tools to help guide the treatment process.
Follow-Up Sessions. (1-2 Hour Duration).
Length and frequency are determined collaboratively between the therapist and family based on clinical needs, therapeutic goals, and financial.
